Class Descriptions

AcroYoga blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community. Acro is separate from our weekly schedule, as it is run in consecutive series of 6 sessions each. After attending a Beginner Acro Yoga Workshop, you can join a series (you can register for all 6 in the series or drop in to single sessions), and also drop into the occasional jams. The jams are structured with the first 20 minutes being core conditioning and drills, while rest of the time is pure play with minimal guidance and instruction, and they are $10 drop in (cash only).

Check our workshops page for the next Beginner AcroYoga Workshop.

Karma classes are by donation, and all proceeds go towards an organization in the community. All levels are welcome.

Ocean Flow
Inspired by the Ocean and synthesizing elements of Tai Chi, Surfing, and Yoga, this Blissology Superflow movement practice will leave you feeling invigorated, peaceful, and deeply connected to the world around you.

Restorative Yoga
A relaxing, meditative practice that uses props to support the body to fully release into seated and reclining postures for longer periods of time. The postures encourage passive stretching through the use of props for total relaxation of the body and mind.

Rise and Shine
A beautiful way to wake up and set the tone of your day. A flowing class with a slower rhythm than Vinyasa, focusing on balance, strength, flexibility and breath. All levels are welcome.

Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa flow links breath with movement in creative sun salutation sequencing & provides a whole body & breath yoga experience. Get ready to play, feel alive, stretched, toned & detoxified! Some yoga experience recommended, but not required.

Yoga Foundations
In this class the basics of yoga will be explored including the classical poses, sun salutations, breathing exercises and cultivating a balance of strength, flexibility, and balance in the mind and body. All levels welome.

A deep and peaceful practice using sustained passive holds, designed to support and preserve joint, bone, and connective tissue health. We encourage you to relax your body and breathe to allow the pull of gravity to assist you in the stretches. Yin yoga is a beautiful way to help improve your overall mobility and range of motion, and specifically the hips, pelvis and spine. All levels welcome.

Yin Yang
We start off the class with a short Yang (active), muscular, and energizing practice and then spend the remainder of class practicing Yin. Yin is a quiet, inward practice that uses long, passive holds to get into the deep connective tissues. Emphasis is on the hips, groin & low back as well as stimulating the lower body meridian lines. An absolutely beautiful way to let go of the stress and tension of your day. All levels are welcome.

Yoga Core
The emphasis of Yoga Core is breathing, abdominal, core control strength, and flexibility. An understanding of yoga fundamentals, which includes developing a mind-body connection, increasing your awareness, and ability to engage the deep abdominal musculature with other essential stabilizing muscles in the body will strengthen & improve all types of movement practice. A challenging class with many modifications offered. All levels are welcome.

Kundalini yoga includes warm-ups, breathing techniques (pranayam), an exercise set (kriya), deep relaxation, chanting, and meditation. Suitable for any age, body ability or flexibility.
