Studio Etiquette

To ensure that you have a pleasant, rewarding experience at our studio, we ask that you observe the following guidelines when attending classes at OmTown Yoga.

It is best to arrive at the studio 10-15 minutes early so you can get signed in and settled.

Before entering, please leave your shoes at the door. Yoga is practised in bare feet.

Sign in. Please advise the teacher of any injury, medical condition or limitations before the class starts.

Ambiance. Keep voices low while in the studio and reception area.

Yoga is not a competitive practice. Yoga is for EVERYONE! You do not need to be flexible in order to practice yoga, you simply need to be open to the possibilities that yoga will bring. Be gentle and compassionate towards yourself and your fellow students. If you are dealing with injury or physical limitations please contact us to make sure we get you in the right class for what you are working with right now.

Yoga Props. Help yourself to props and blocks from the studio for your class. We have a limitied number of mats to borrow. Eco friendly yoga mats are also available for purchase at the studio.

It is best to practice on an empty stomach.
